GOD IS SO GOOOOOD! Another preface- many apologies for the delayed blogs. Unfortunately, our team has had some trouble snagging internet. Nevertheless, I am here now, in Burger King, with the sincerest intention of catching you up on our time in Honduras.ย

Much to our initial dismay, Tony's car had to visit the shop for some repairs this week. This turned into a bit of a projet for us in getting creative with transportation. Without a car, we have to walk about 30 minutes to the closest bus stop, snag a ride on the ever so crowded Honduran public buses, and get dropped of either at our destination or grab another bus to connect the rest of the way. Yesterday, we had to complete this adventure with groceries and two jugs of water as well. BUT. I stand by what I said earlier- GOD IS SO GOOD. It's crazy to me how he takes the uncomfortable and makes it comfortable. We had to pleasure of making new friends at the grocery store and on the bus. We even had opportunities to minister as we traveled from place to place running errands. Long story short- Tony's car problems actually turned into quite a blessing. We got creative with transportation, developed an appreciation for his car, and were blessed with more time on the farm with the boys and eachother.

In fact, I can honestly say that I've felt the spirit move most heavily among our group this week. We've have numerous fruitful conversations with one another, time to reflect on our goals and accomplishments, and personal time with the Lord. Personally, I haven't spent this much time listening to Lord ever before in my life. What a beautiful gift- to be present with a God so huge but so intimate at the same time. Needless to say, I'm learning a LOT.

Finally, I just want to share a little about our ministry and some changes that have been going on. We're still spending time at the school teaching english, art and P.E. In fact, with our new schedule, each of us will have the opportunity to spend even more time there. Could not be more pumped about this change because I have just fallen in LOVE with these kids. Talk about stealing my heart away- I always told myself I wasn't interested in teaching (because that's what I thought the truth was). My how the Lord has worked in my heart- I have SO enjoyed teaching english and developing personal relationships with each of the 14 or so kids we teach.

In addition to this time at the school, we will also be doing house visits four times a week throughout Los Pinos. This is another super exctiing development. A few of us had the opportunity to have dinner at Ariel's 12x12 foot house with about 12 people total. But what a beautiful family and such fruitful time with them. I cannot wait to see the Lord work and the spirit move even more heavily throughout these homes and Los Pinos as a whole.

SOOO. There we go. If you made it this far, thank you for reading! Okay... bye.ย
